Rental of industrial fishing rights and use of private fishing rights (municipality of Gulbenes)

Process description

1. Service requests
   The service interrogator shall turn to the relevant parish administration in the administrative territory of which the selected water body is located and submit an application from a legal or natural person (fisherman), indicating the address of the registration or declared place of residence, the number and size of the preferred fishing gears (muram - fence length), the fishing purpose - commercial fishing or self-consumption fishing, telephone number.

2. Service Processing
   After examining the submission, the local government shall draw up a contract regarding the allocation of fishing limits. A Protocol setting out the fishing limits and the rental fee shall be drawn up in the Annex to the Agreement. The submitter of the application shall be invited to sign the contract and to make the payments specified in the Protocol.

3. Service Fee Information
   Fish pots up to EUR 30 m 9,96,
   An eel trap of up to EUR 30 m 14,23,
   Fish network, for each EUR 5 m 2.85

4. Receipt of services
   Upon receipt of an industrial fishing licence, the registration certificate for a fishing water vehicle and the service receipt shall be presented to the State Environmental Service.
